‘The Old Man and the Gun’ Features Shots Central Texas

If you've ever been to Bellmead, you might recognize parts of the new Robert Redford movie.

Some of the scenes from "Old Man and the Gun", starring Robert Redford, were shot in Central Texas. To be more precise, Bellmead, and the round American Bank Building at I-35 and Lake Shore Drive.

KWTX talked to  one of the banks executives who played a teller in the film. Tonya Malcom said..."It was kind of surreal. Like 'is that really him?' He was still very statuesque."

The movie also features a car chase on State Highway 77, as well as scenes at the Bull Durham Building on Elm Street, and in the downtown area.

The movie will come out September 28th.
