Well, the website 247wallst.com has taken a look at the numbers, and they've come up with a list of the richest neighborhoods in each state. So who's on top in Texas?

Factors in this study include median household income, and social and economic factors for locations with less than 25,000 residents. Data in this study comes from the U.S. Census.

And the winner is....West University, Texas. The Houston neighborhood, inside the 610 loop in Houston, has a population of just over 15,000. The average household income in Texas is $53,035. For West University it's $207,429.

The joke is West University is steeped in diversity, because the town has every kind of doctor or lawyer you could ask for. Here's a look inside a West University home for sale:

So, who is the richest town in all of America? Well, that would be Scarsdale, New York. With a median household income of over $241,000. It seems Scarsdale was home to Linda McCartney and Yoko Ono who both lived there before marrying a couple of lads from Liverpool, England.
