Three-Semi Crash Stalls I-35 Traffic in Troy

UPDATE 3:02 PM: The crash site in Troy was clear shortly after 3PM , and traffic flow was returning to normal. However, a stalled vehicle near FM 1237/Pendelton Road was threatening to slow traffic just south of Troy.

Northbound lanes of I-35 were moving at a crawl through Troy Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving three trucks.

TxDOT issued an alert about the crash at 1:22 PM, indicating that the collision occurred near the intersection of I-35 and Main Street in Troy.

TxDOT's Jodi Wheatley said trucks were stopped on both sides of the northbound lanes, but that traffic was trickling through. He said emergency responders were at the scene, but could not give an estimate on when the scene would be cleared.
