Ever since Tim McGraw performed his new single 'Highway Don't Care' at the 2013 ACM Awards -- joined by the lovely Taylor Swift and guitar superstar Keith Urban -- fans have been clamoring to see the music video for the heartfelt song. With the video release just around the corner, McGraw opens up behind-the-scenes to give us exclusive look at Swift's role.

'Highway Don't Care' was shot outdoors on a lonely road outside of Nashville, and the scenery looks lush with budding trees and green grass. McGraw explains, "Taylor's part that she sings is really a song coming through the radio." He goes on to say that when he heard the demo, he could tell it was the right song for his 'Two Lanes of Freedom' album, and immediately he knew that he wanted the Grammy-winning songstress to sing on it. "I knew I wanted Taylor to sing that part because it just fit perfectly, and I wanted to do a song with Taylor for a long time," he reveals.

Along with Swift, McGraw's song also features fellow star Urban, and he couldn't have been happier with the end result. "You never want to force any of these things. You want these things to happen organically," he explains. "So the fact that it was Taylor singing this song from the perspective it was coming from, and Keith playing the guitar, and all three of us being able to work together just seemed really natural, and I think the song feels that way too."

In the 'Highway Don't Care' video behind-the-scenes clip, Swift looks beautiful in a flowing white dress, and McGraw seems completely relaxed throughout the whole process. Collaborating can sometimes be a tedious happening, but as evidence by the video, when you gather three music superstars together, sometimes it's the perfect equation.

The 'Highway Don't Care' video premieres in full on May 6.
