Tim McGraw “Song of the Day”

Leading up to our giveaway for the Tim McGraw flyaway at the end of February we'll be featuring different Tim McGraw songs, videos and live performances.  Today we're going to feature McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl", his first #1 country hit.  The song is about a boy and a girl at 8-years old, 18-years old and 23-years old, and each verse ends with the boy begging someone not to "take the girl".  The song reached #17 on the Billboard charts while peaking at the #1 position on the country charts.  "Don't Take the Girl" was written by Craig Martin and Larry W. Johnson
