It's hard enough to stay together nowadays without paparazzi and gossip rags documenting every up and down a couple goes through.  A few have made it last, including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

In honor of Valentine's Day and our flyaway to see Tim & Faith in Las Vegas, we celebrate the lasting love of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.  They've been together since 1996, and unless you search real hard it's been a marriage free of the drama of other power couples.

Due to the longevity of the marriage and its absence of divorce rumors every six months I've made Tim & Faith my top country music power couple.  Here's my full list:

5.  Brantley Gilbert & Jana Kramer

Brantley and Jana are the newest of our power couples, both in relationship and career.  The relationship began in September of 2012, and the couple got engaged in January of 2013.  Musically, Brantley Gilbert has released two albums, including Halfway to Heaven, which featured the #1 single "Country Must be Country Wide".  It's Brantley's songwriting that's garnered him the most success, co-writing "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kind of Party" for Jason Aldean.  Jana Kramer's career began on the big screen in 2002 in the film Dead/Undead before moving to television, where she eventually became a household name in the show One Tree Hill.  In February of 2011 Jana signed with Elektra Records and in June of the following year she released her debut album.  Two of her singles, "Whiskey" and "Why You Wanna" have both been aired on US 105 and both have charted.

4.  Amy Grant & Vince Gill

Amy Grant and Vince Gill came to the edge of scandal when their work relationship blossomed into love while still married to their respective spouses in the late 90s.  They married March 10, 2000.  Amy's career began in christian music, where she still ranks as the best-selling contemporary christian music act of all time.  Her crossover into the mainstream music genre came with 1991's album Heart in Motion, which featured the hit single "Baby Baby".  Five total top-20 hits came from the album, and the album has sold more than 5 million copies.  Vince Gill's country music career began with rock group Pure Prairie League in the 70s, and his country career that followed has resulted in 18 CMA awards, 40 charting singles and 22 million albums sold.

3.  Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher

Depending on who you ask, Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher are either country music's hottest couple, or hockey's hottest couple.  They may not be an all-country music couple, but her place near the top of country music's short list of superstars gives her enough equity to be on my list.  Carrie began her career as the winner for season 4 of American Idol.  Her debut album became the fastest-selling debut country album in SoundScan history, the best-selling solo female debut album in country music and the top-selling album of the decade spanning 2001-2011 at more than 7 million sold.  Hubbie Mike Fisher has been one of the NHL's most respected players since his debut in the 1999-2000 season with the Ottawa Senators.  His trade in February of 2011 to the Nashville Predators allowed the couple to avoid long separations caused by their traveling.

2.  Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert

One is a sassy, foul-mouthed country girl, and the other is Miranda Lambert.  Kidding.  Blake and Miranda have done enough to become THE IT couple at the moment, although their relatively new relationship puts them just behind Tim & Faith for my top power couple in country music.  Their careers and lives are intertwined from the beginning.  Blake was first on the scene, releasing his debut album "Austin", which spent five weeks at #1.  Blake's television resume is as big, if not bigger, as his music career.  Blake has spent time as a judge with "Nashville Star""Clash of the Choirs" and "The Voice", where he's been one of the most popular mentors over the past 3 seasons.  Miranda began her career on the reality competition show "Nashville Star", where she finished as a finalist.  Since her debut album "Kerosene", Miranda has been certified as platinum.  The album also featured four singles that hit the country charts.  Since that debut album, she's released three new albums and has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the ACMs and the CMAs.  Blake and Miranda have been married since May, 2011.

1.  Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been country's music's sweethearts since they got married in October, 1996.  The couple has celebrated success, failure and bumpy roads along the way, but they continue to defy the odds as a happily-married celebrity couple beyond just the world of country music.  McGraw's career has produced 11 consecutive albums that have debuted at #1, and he's belted out twenty-one #1 singles.  His mantle at the house is struggling under the weight of his many awards, including 3 Grammys, 11 CMA awards, 14 ACM awards, 10 AMA awards and 3 People's Choice Awards.  Faith's career is not too shabby, with eight #1 singles and three #1 albums on the country charts. Faith's career also includes acting and a venture into the perfume business.  Together, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have sold in excess of 80 million albums and their Soul2Soul tour has become the highest-grossing country music tour of all time.
