Tornado Watch Issued For Bell County

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Bell County and Central Texas until Midnight. Storms will be moving through the area into the overnight hours and could cause strong winds, hail, heavy rain, and even tornados.

Just before 6pm a Tornado Warning was issued in Coryell County for a storm traveling North at 45mph. A Tornado was spotted on the ground near Lake Whitney State Park. This Warning has been extended until 7pm. Strong storms will be hit and miss this evening so please stay weather alert.

A Dense Fog Advisory has also been issued for central Texas this evening until 8pm. Visibility will be reduced to a quarter of a mile in some places. Please travel safely.
