Social media loves to remind us all what we were up to this time last year, or two years ago, or 5 years ago. Over the last couple of weeks, I've seen lots of Hurrican Harvey memories from 2017.

It is that time of year. Tropical storms and Hurricanes are back in the news. Tropical Storm Gordon has folks worried from Florida to Houston as it spins its way towards the Gulf of Mexico.

Our weather partners at KWTX News 10 say Gordon is expected to bring heavy rains to the Gulf Coast region of the Southern United States. Storm warnings have been issued for South Florida and the Keys.

Weather forecasters have issued storm warnings for portions of South Florida and the Florida Keys. A surge watch has been issued for the Mississippi-Alabama coast. Gordon is currently moving west-northwest of the Florida Keys with sustained winds at 45 mph.
