Ocean Quest Pools has left some in Belton wondering when, and if, projects they started will be started. We discussed Ocean Quest back in November, where residents questioned when their pools would be finished. The company began the projects, but failed to complete any of them.

However, updated information has revealed that those unfinished projects may remain unfinished.

Update Regarding Ocean Quest Pools And Projects

”Ocean Quest Pools filed for bankruptcy because it ran out of money and was unable to complete its pending jobs. An independent bankruptcy trustee will the have opportunity to investigate the assets and liabilities of the company and take any steps necessary to recover funds for the benefit of the creditors.”

But plans to look into the bankruptcy have already been put into motion. On December 28th, the beginning of the meetings with creditors began. Belton residents affected by the unfinished pool projects were also given an opportunity to ask questions to a former partner of Ocean Quest, Ronnie Potts, as KWTX reported.

Another meeting was set for January 12th, 2023 after the December 28th meeting was postponed. For residents of Belton however, they are still searching for a way to figure out the problems presented to them with their unfinished projects.

As this is still a developing story, more information will be provided when it becomes available.
