Update on Bubble Wrap and Aluminum Foil Furniture Deterrent

I have an update for you guys on Psycho Groucho the Jack Russell Terrier.  Remember how I told you thunderstorms make him lose his mind.   When he hears Thunder or those Fort Hood bombs, he forgets and instead of obeying the rules he jumps up on the furniture. 

Remember I covered the couch and chair with bubble wrap and aluminum foil., the vacuum cleaner and laundry baskets?  That stuff kept him off for the most part.  He would still jump up but not be able to settle in, because there was no room.

Well, I felt sorry for him, so I went out in the garage and found an old camping chair.  Now he can satisfy that urge to be on high and stay offfa my couch.  We still don’t trust him yet, so the aluminum foil and  laundry baskets will stay around for a little bit longer.

Maybe someday, the humans will get to use the furniture again.
