The Vietnam War Memorial has arrived at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen.

We took the cameras along so we could show you the amazing work that went into this memorial. The design of the memorial was done by veteran and sculptor Troy Kelley. Kelley also designed the Fort Hood Memorial that stands in front of the Shiloh Inn in Killeen that is dedicated to the families of the 13 people killed in the 2009 Terror Attack.

The new Vietnam Memorial is visible from the road as you head down 195. The artwork on the memorial is amazing and really is worth stopping to take a closer look as you pay respects to our nation's soldiers.

The Vietnam Memorial is the first of it's kind to be installed at a Veteran's cemetery in the entire state of Texas. The cost of the memorial was around $40,000 covered by donations to the cemetery. The memorial will be dedicated on August 28th. The event is open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
