Waco Car Chases Ends in Crash

News 10 is reporting that a Tuesday morning car chase ended with the suspect crashing into a local Waco business.

Around 6 a.m. Tuesday a car chase began on South Valley Mills Drive in Beverly Hills. Police chased the suspect until he suddenly ran off the road and into a used car lot on Franklin Avenue in Waco.

KWTX said, "The driver led officers onto Franklin and into Waco before the car veered off the road and crashed into Massey Motors in the 2400 block of Franklin, damaging two other vehicles on the lot."

Police did not release more information other than that they detained one suspect at the scene of the crash.

The suspect is believed to have been driving a red Hyundai sedan.

Part of Franklin was closed temporarily after the crash.
