KWTX is reporting that Waco's participation in the Teal Pumpkin Program will be city-wide this year.

The Teal Pumpkin lets trick-or-treaters know there is a non-food item available for kids who have food allergies. Putting a Teal Pumpkin on your porch or in the window lets kids and parents know that items like bubbles, stickers, party favors, or fun non-food items can be picked up by kids on Halloween.

The Teal Pumpkin project is offered nation-wide by the Food Allergy Research and Education initiative.
