Aaron Watson wrote the beautiful song '58' as a tribute to the 58 men and women who were killed in the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.

Today he released the video on the two-year anniversary of the massacre.

The 58-second song will stop you in your tracks. The video matches the song's magnificent simplicity.

When I saw the video on Aaron's Instagram I immediately wanted to share it. Writing an article about such a difficult subject can be hard for me, but being a fan of such art is easy, so I simply want to share this with as many people as possible.

'58' is the final track on Watson's latest album 'Red Bandana' that was released in late June. It's quite possibly my favorite album of the year.

If you haven't listened to 'Red Bandana' yet, I suggest waiting till you have an hour and nine minutes to listen to it from start to finish. Every track is placed with a purpose and the flow of the record is so well done it deserves appreciation.

Of course, this isn't the first album of Watson's to feature a song that gives you chills. So many of his songs that are inspired by personal events speak to many.

Aaron is one of the few artists who brings authenticity to everything he writes and performs. He's had his taste of commercial success but never waivers from what is important to him. He's family first, yet is still one of the hardest workers in the industry.

So yes, I am a fan and I truly enjoy what he does for such a wonderful form of art. I hope you do too.
