It wasn't just Texans trying to escape the flood waters of Hurricane Harvey over the weekend, many animals also found themselves stranded in many parts of the state due to the heavy rains.

Firefighters in College Station received a call about a horse stuck in the water along Highway 6. Our news partners at KWTX shared the video above on Sunday afternoon shortly after the rescue concluded. A second horse was rescued near by.

Authorities have not been able to find the owners of the animals so far. Firefighters closed off the intersection during the rescue which is now reopened.
