2018 was a hell of year. What better way to commemorate the new year than having Parker McCollum sing his smash at your Billy Bob's Texas New Year's Eve concert? Last night Randy Rogers welcomed one of the scene's brightest new stars to the stage to sing one of the scene's biggest songs of '18.

Last year was a big one for Randy Rogers, who despite not releasing any new Randy Rogers Band music had perhaps one of his busiest years. Rogers opened a new restaurant and music venue, released a passion project with Robert Earl Keen under the alias of The Stryker Brothers, and toured incessantly.

McCollum is a member of the talented new crop of young Texas and Red Dirt artists that will soon be tasked with carrying on its legacy. In '17 The Limestone Kid released the Probably Wrong Sessions, before combining the ambitious two-part project together and put out Probably Wrong. He landed two songs in our Top 10 for for the year, including "Hell of a Year," and "Misunderstood."
