We Met A Pilgrim On Our Way

Jack Hammer and I were out and about running errands when Jack spotted something you don’t see every day.

A man was walking toward downtown Temple wearing a tunic and bearing a cross. We were curious, so Jack circled back around and we caught up with the man. He was very polite and offered us a friendly handshake and jovial “God bless you!”

We declined to ask his name out of respect for his privacy and pilgrimage, but he was kind enough to let us snap a quick photo. If you happen to spot him, don’t be shy about saying hello. He was a friendly guy and you’re sure to feel a happy stirring in your soul after speaking with him!
