We have heard so many of our favorite country artists cover some of our favorite traditional Christmas songs. When is the last time you listened to a Christmas Country album and loved an original?

For me, it was Kenny Chesney singing about wanting a really good tan for Christmas. When Kacey Musgraves released "A Very Kacey Christmas" my mind was blown! I loved the song "Present Without a Bow" she brought in Leon Bridges and the Texas natives nailed it. Bridges added a bluesy touch and the accordion makes me think of Buck Owens and the Bakersfield sound. All in all it is an amazing song! Listen to it here:

I also listened to Brett Eldredge's album "Glow (Deluxe)" and was amazed at how much I loved Christmas music all of a sudden. First off, who knew that Brett Eldredge could give Michael Buble a run for his money? Brett Eldredge enlists the help of Meghan Trainor for "Baby It's Cold Outside" and they nailed it! Don't skip out on Brett's "Glow", it isn't just the name to the album, it's an original that Eldredge co-wrote with a friend and highlights the good feeling of watching your other half glow during the holidays. Yeah, it's a feel-good romantic tune, with a Frank Sinatra type feel. You'll love it.
