Whiskey Myers Debut New Song ‘Early Morning Shakes’

Whiskey Myers third album "Early Morning Shakes" is due out February 2014. Today Texas Monthly had the exclusive debut of a new song, the album's title track.

The album was produced by Dave Cobb—whose previous credits include records by both Waylon and Shooter Jennings—and it's a bluesy collection of the drinking man's music, full of thumping drums and swaggering guitars, like what you might hear from the Allman Brothers Band if they'd grown up with a serious Led Zeppelin fetish.

Can't wait to hear the rest of this project.

The guys close out 2013 with concerts in Austin, Killeen, Waco, San Angelo, Davis, Okla., and an eagerly awaited return home to Tyler, Texas and Cowboy's night club on Dec. 27. Click here for full concert schedule.
