Why Pay More When You Can Just Lower Your Standards?

Beer and Q-Tips are the only things I refuse to compromise.  I won't go with the generic.  I won't sacrifice quality for price.  Everything else is fair game.  This video is proof that we can't tell the difference most of the time.

I've always believed that lovers of wine and fine cigars couldn't tell the difference between a cheap imitation and the real deal if given a blind taste test.  It's amazing to see the power of a brand.  We'll pay incredible amounts of money, even if suitable substitutes are far more economically reasonable, just to get that label.  Clothes.  Cars.  Food.

Sure, we can all tell the difference between fast food and high-end organic food.  Wait, what's that you say?
