The flu has been relentless this year and has even caught up to country legend Willie Nelson.

Willie was on stage kicking off a show in California last week when he began to have trouble breathing during the opening number of his set. Nelson left the stage and later canceled 8 tour dates in the month of February.

His management team says Willie is ok despite this year's powerful flu virus. His voice needs time to recover and they say that is the reason for the break.

Willie plans to resume his tour schedule in March in Greenville, South Carolina. He's due back in Texas March 12th to play the Amarillo Civic Center. #CantStopWillie
