Wind Advisory Issued For Bell County
It's a windy end to the weekend in central Texas with gusts at times today reaching 40mph.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Bell County until 6pm tonight. A strong west to northwest wind will continue through the day across North and Central Texas. Sustained winds will be 20 - 30 mph.
These conditions mean you should keep an eye out for patio furniture or garbage cans that might be tossed around outside. This wind is also going to make the conditions on our lakes in central Texas very choppy and possibly even dangerous.
A Wind Advisory is issued when winds are expected to exceed 20 to 30 mph. These winds can make driving difficult at times today on high profile vehicles traveling north and south on I-35.
