Imagine falling off a sailboat and your drunk significant other doesn't realize you're missing until several hours later. According to Bostonglobe.com a woman from Rhode Island was with her husband when she fell out of their sailboat around sunset. The drunk husband realized his wife was nowhere to be found so he called for help. The Coast Guard launched a search at around 3 a.m. Luckily for the stranded wife, some people aboard another sailboat heard someone shouting for help and they helped the distraught woman up on the boat and out of the water at 4:00 a.m. The Coast Guard went and met up with the sailboat and took the woman back to her husband where their boat was docked. I can only imagine the cold shoulder this drunk husband must be receiving right now. Hopefully he lays off the booze next time he and his wife set sail, otherwise, he may be setting sail as a single man.

I remember being in Jr. High and my dad and I were at a gas station, I ran inside to pay for gas and wait for change. When I got the change I walked outside with no sign of my dad. There I was in a town that was known for gang violence, with no cell phone, hoping my clueless dad would realize his shotgun rider was missing. My dad has always been kind of an airhead, but I was so upset he had forgotten me. Eventually, I saw that minivan drive up, and I had never been so excited to see that Pontiac Trans Sport Van. I cried the whole way to that bible study he forced me to go to. Have you ever been forgotten? Have you ever been the one that forgot someone? Tell us about it in the comments below!
