The 10th annual Wreath Laying ceremony was held today at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Each year it's the great people of central Texas who volunteer to decorate the graves of our veterans for a day of remembrance that falls near the beginning of the holiday season. If you've never attended the wreath ceremony the video above features the event from just a couple years ago. Each of the graves at the cemetery has a wreath laid before it during the event. This years ceremony included 7000 wreaths.

Many thanks go to the Friends of Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery who with the help of volunteers make this event possible each November. If you missed the event and still want to help, volunteers will be needed on January 14th at 10am to collect the wreaths and store them for next year.
