We tend to forget in the age of instant information and gratification about the treasures that are right in front of us at our local libraries. The Copperas Cove Library located at 501 S. Main Street has a great calendar of events lined up in January and their inviting you out to see that your local library is more than a place that houses books.

Toddler Time And Story Time - Toddlers take over the library every Tuesday and if your kid is being fussy, bring them in for story time on Thursdays both start at 10:00 AM weekly.

Book Club - Looking for a book club? Well here's your chance to join one on Wednesday Jan. 18th at 10:00 am where they will discuss this month's read "The Other Einstein" by Marie Benedict.

Medieval Arts & Sciences - On Wednesday Jan. 18th at 8:00 PM a Medieval Arts & Sciences program on "Making Marmalade" will take place and its open to the public!

Teen Manga-Pizza-Anime-Gaming-Reading Club - All teens 11-18 years of age are welcome to come out on Thursday Jan. 19th from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm for pizza and soft drinks to check out the latest books in their age range. After the books, there will be a XBox One games on the big projection screen! Speaking of games....

Gaming Day - On Friday Jan. 21 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM calling all gamers from card games to video games, you're all welcome to spend the day off from school to get your game on at the LIBRARY! Drinks and snacks will be available and kids under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
