43rd Citizen’s Police Academy Returns to Killeen in March

The Killeen Daily Herald shared the news over the weekend about the return of the Citizen's Police Academy.

It's your chance to get a closer look at all that goes into being a Killeen Police Officer. The Academy will be in March and last into May. Applications are being handed out starting today. The classes last for 12 weeks and will be held on Monday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM. The deadline to register is at the end of the day on February 23rd.

There is no cost to enroll in the Academy but you will have to submit to a background check and criminal history check. A similar course is also being offered by the Copperas Cove police.
