Some of my best memories of Christmas are the times my family would stop and pack up the car and drive around to look at the holiday light displays. Growing up some years we saw tons of lights and other years the neighborhoods didn't do as much.

    Nature In Lights - Belton Lake

    Ya can't beat 5.5 miles of Christmas lights under the stars! Nature in Lights is open nightly from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. You'll find it at N Nolan Road and Cottage Road Fort Hood, Texas. It's open until January 6th.

    Walkway of Lights in Marble Falls, Texas

    Take a walk through some two million Christmas Light displays illuminating 130 different sculptures as the Walkway of Lights is sure to please anyone looking for some holiday cheer. Open 6 p.m. to 10 p.m, you can even find Santa and his elves checking out the lights on weekends and on Christmas Eve!

    Rock 'N Lights - Round Rock, Texas

    It's hard to pass up Christmas Towne and Rock 'N Lights in Round Rock, Texas. Christmas Town is set up in the Dell Diamond parking lot and visitors often view the trail of lights and then hit the Christmas carnival for some fun afterward! See more info at www.roundrocktexas.gov/christmastowne.

    Santa's Ranch - New Braunfels, Texas

    It's hard to miss the 50 foot Christmas Tree at Santa's Ranch in New Braunfels.1.5 Million Christmas lights are waiting at 9561 I-35 North in New Braunfels. Kettle corn, roasted pecans, and hot chocolate are inside as well! Sometimes the line to drive-thru the display can stack up so get there early and enjoy! They are open from 6p to 10p most nights and even later on Friday and Saturday.

    Trail of Lights - Austin, Texas

    The Trail of Lights in Zilker Park has been around since the 1960's. Located in Zilker Park at 2100 Barton Springs Road you'll see nearly two million lights and 40 displays! Be sure to visit www.austintrailoflights.org for hours and ticket information!
