Dierks is the third youngest member to be inducted into the Grand Ole’ Opry behind Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner.

He graduated from a prestigious East Coast prep school and went to Vanderbilt University before dropping out to pursue a career in music.

Before becoming famous, he would sneak into the Grand Ole’ Opry to see shows and meet the performers. He did this so many times he eventually had his access limited. Today Bentley is a regular guest at the Opry.
