Killeen police are looking for a suspect who fled a jewelry store with two rings valued at $13,000.

The theft occurred at the Zales store in the Killeen Mall on Friday, June 19 around 8:54 p.m. According to police, the suspect asked an associate to show him two bridal rings so he could compare them side by side. When the employee displayed the rings, the man grabbed them from her hand and fled.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-50’s to early 60’s with a salt-and-pepper mustache, standing approximately 6’ tall and weighing around 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue button down shirt and off-white newsboy cap.
