Killeen Police Investigating 48th St Homicide

Killeen police are investigating the death of a man found dead from a gunshot wound in AA Lane Park Wednesday morning as a homicide.

Police found 22-year-old Mitchell Sebastian Jaudon Jr. lying unresponsive on the ground shortly after midnight. A Killeen Fire Department EMS crew tried to resuscitate him, but were unsuccessful. He was declared dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke, who ordered Jaudon's remains sent to the Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas for autopsy.
