Traffic Tip: Killeen Expands Road Work Along Trimmier

The city of Killeen is announcing extended road construction along Trimmier Road and the closure of Valley Road for the next month or so.

On Trimmier, it's the northbound lane that will remain closed from Turtle Bend Drive to US 190 through February. This road work has to be extended as a result of draining issues that came about as a result of the current road work. Motorists should use caution in these single lane areas.

The city has also announced the closure of Valley Road beginning at the intersection of Sissom Road for about 3 weeks. This closure is for curb, gutter, and ramp repair. If you travel through this area please obey all posted construction signs and use caution.
