KCEN-TV is reporting that over 70,000 pounds of beef is being recalled from H&B Packing Company based in Waco after tests came back positive for a rare form of E. coli.

If you have made a purchase that matches the photo above, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection Service says you should throw it away or return it for a refund.

According to KCEN, the following products are included in the recall:

  • 60-lb. box containing boneless beef with case code 69029 and production date 03/06/17.
  • Multiple combo bins containing 73,682 lbs of boneless beef with case code 69029 and production date 03/06/17.

Thankfully there are no reports of anyone becoming sick from the beef included in the recall. If you're not sure if what's in your freezer matches the recall, you can check the packaging for the number “EST.M13054” inside the USDA inspection mark. Items with this number were shipped throughout Texas.
