The movie AmeriGeddon, which was written and shot right here in Central Texas, will be hitting the big screen on Friday.

According to KWTX, Central Texas resident Gary Heavin wrote the movie and served as an executive producer.

It was a tough movie to make as it was banned in Hollywood, and a lot of agents wouldn't let their actors star in the picture. Which was fine, since that meant that a lot of locals were used in the movie.

The movie shows what would happen if the U.S. Government were to conspire with the United Nations to attack the energy grid. It would leave Americans open to martial law and being stripped of their constitutional rights. Think how much food you have in storage if we lost all electricity?

Again, this is a limited release. You can see it in Waco at the Galaxy 16 Theaters.
