One of the oldest department stores in Texas got a new look just days before Christmas!

Check out the new look at Cochran, Blair, and Potts! $500,000 dollars in renovations have now been completed according to the Temple Daily Telegram.

The TDT says it's the largest renovation to the department store since 1929! Owner Robert Potts described a few of the changes to the telegram. Included in the renovations are the original limestone walls that had been plastered over, along with an original entrance on Penelope Street that has been restored.

The store is located at 221 E. Central Avenue in Belton and has been serving Central Texas for nearly 150 years. Be sure to stop by and check out the new renovations the next time your in Belton.
