Per a social media post from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, an unknown individual reached out the police reported the spotting of the dogs:
Further information revealed that the carrier they were in did not have any water inside of it. In addition, temperatures reached the triple digits at 100 degrees! Thankfully, as soon as the puppies were rescued, they were given water, even splashed with it, as shown in the photos.
The dogs, following the care from Texas law enforcement, were picked up by the Fort Worth Animal Care & Control. Following a checkup medically, they'll be available for an individual to bring home forever.
What You Should Do In Texas If You See An Animal Trapped In A Bad Situation
Sadly, this will probably not be the last time someone in the state of Texas will discover an animal in a hot area. As reported by the National Humane Education Society, if you come across an animal in a situation that is considered life-threatening, you should call law enforcement as soon as you can. You should also provide details in regards to what the area looks like, or if in a car, details of the vehicle.
Hopefully soon, these pups will find their forever home, with plenty of treats and pets.
