Another Sleepless Night for the Thunderphobic Dog
I don't know what I will do about Groucho when my son moves away. Groucho is my Jack Russell Terrier who is deathly afraid of Thunderstorms. Travis, (my son) was up with him all night long. I bought this special Shirt for him (Groucho), that is supposed to calm him down. Doesn't work. The dog still walks around in a panic, hyperventilating.

Groucho is not allowed on the furniture, (he sheds something awful), and he usually abides by the rules, not during thunderstorms. We have to erect the barriers.

The only solution for us, wait it out and when it gets quiet again, the dog will conk out.
