‘Cobra Kai’ has brought the classic back into the spotlight

It’s official: We’ll be waiting a little bit longer for the next chapter in the Stranger Things saga, but according to Netflix, it’ll be worth it. The delay — and the reason behind it — was formally confirmed over the weekend at the streaming giant’s panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, where the company’s VP of original content also discussed what fans can expect from Stranger Things Season 3.

Your artists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should — which, in this case, is actually good for humanity because a massive open-shirted Jeff Goldblum statue has magically appeared in front of the Tower Bridge in London.

The actress, best known for her roles in the original ‘Superman’ movies as well as a trio of horror classics, has died at the age of 69.

As it turns out, the only thing Peter Parker (and Sony) needed to make us actually want too see another reboot was a little help from the MCU. Spider-Man: Homecoming was one of the most pleasant surprises of the year, thanks in no small part to an exciting deal with Marvel that allowed Sony to borrow Iron Man and Captain America. In Pixar’s third installment of the hit franchise, Owen Wilson’s legendary race car Lightning McQueen is forced into retirement following a traumatic crash, and with all the shiny, young new cars — like Jackson Storm — dominating the track, Lightning has a tough road ahead if he wants to remain relevant. That’s a pretty heavy-sounding plot, but as the full trailer for Cars 3 proves, it’s not all doom and gloom in Cars World.

With Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans promising a big surprise on Jimmy Kimmel Live, we knew it had to be something special — that something is the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War. Not a teaser, but an actual, full trailer, dramatically highlighting the growing divide between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, which will divide the Avengers and pit them against one another in what could be Marvel's most epic film yet.
