There's an old saying, "never meet your heroes", but if you get the chance to meet a friend of your heroes you should probably take advantage of that situation. Who knows, you might be able to give them some advice that they'll take similar to what a young Belton boy did recently.

👋 Wrestling Legend Mick Foley Visits Belton, Texas

This past Sunday, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Mick Foley came out to Belton, Texas for a meet and greet at Battleground Collectibles. The event provided a great opportunity for wrestling fans to get pictures and autographs with Foley. One young fan took asked Mick to relay a message to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Mr. Foley delivered.

🗣️ Young Fan Finnley's Bold Message for "The Final Boss"

The young Belton boy, Finnley, told Mick Foley that he needed to tell The Rock, who is now going by The Final Boss, that The Rock needed to "straighten up". Dwayne Johnson recently returned to the wrestling organization, and he has taken a heel roll as an antagonist to Cody Rhodes. Johson has even managed to get legendary good guy, John Cena, to turn heel as well.

📱 Foley Delivers, The Rock Responds!

Finnley's efforts may have paid off. Mick Foley sent a text message to his old tag team partner to let him know that a young fan said that he needed to straighten up, and The Rock sent a video back saying that since the request was coming through his old friend, he would consider straightening up a little bit.

🚀 Finnley "Shoots His Shot" and Gets Noticed!

Finnley saw an opportunity to get a message to his hero, so Finnley shot his shot. It's great to see a local Belton kid getting attention from the arguably the biggest superstar in the world. I think we can all learn a lesson from Finnley and take a chance when an opportunity presents itself no matter how unlikely the desired outcome might be.
