It was an early start to the day for Central Bell Fire and the Belton Fire Department as both crews responded to a house fire in Belton about 4 AM this morning.

Crews arrived at a home along US 190/14 with flames coming out of the back. KWTX reports it took the crews almost an hour before they could safely enter the house.

Neighbors told firefighters that at least one person lived inside the home. Officials later announced that one body was found inside the home once the fire was put out.
