Beware of Freaky Rattlesnakes That Can Swim In the Texas Lake
Tons of people enjoy swimming in the lake but don't realize what other kinds of species love it as well. Now besides the fish that swim around the lake, some of the reptilia class also loves it just as much as we do.

I don't know about you but it has been many years since I stepped foot into a lake. The last lake I visited was in Pueblo, Colorado when I was like 5 years old.
Back in 2017, I shared something creepy which involves diving bell spiders that can swim in the water. Well, from the looks of it, now we have something else to fear that can swim too.
For those who didn't know whatever you do, don't ever mess with a rattlesnake in the water. Just last month Blake Barnett shared his video of what he came across at O.H. Ivie Lake in Texas.
Now as crazy as it seems, rattlesnakes can swim in the water without any struggles. Blake Barnett shared his wild bass fishing encounter on O.H. Ivie Lake on his Instagram page.

TX Parks & Wildlife's Twitter shared Blake Barnett's video warning people to leave the snakes alone. So if you ever visit O.H. Ivie Lake in Texas be aware of the rattlesnakes that are coasting on the water just like you.
Rattlesnakes have been spotted swimming in the water all over the United States. Take a look at the Bearded Bilogist's YouTube video of a Cottonmouth rattlesnake swimming beside him above.
There have been a couple of other places where people have encountered snakes in the water. Another spot that is fairly close to El Paso happened in New Mexico.
Storyful Viral shared a video of a rattlesnake swimming at a steady pace towards the land. So next time you plan on visiting a lake in Texas, New Mexico, or anywhere else, always keep this in mind.
