Broken-Hearted Buyer: Has This Happened To You In Temple, Texas?
We've all needed new things in our life. Something we own is always either close to breaking, or is broken beyond repair. Well, looks like it's time to go shopping isn't it?
Luckily we're in an area with a lot of shops, so finding the item you need shouldn't be hard. You find the item you need, possibly on sale, and you get it. You treat it with care (it is new after all), and take it all the way home.
Finally, the moment has arrived! You get to the unboxing of the item. The excitement obviously is very high, because hey, new items are always fun to add.
You take out the item, look it over, and your heart sinks. Why would your heart sink? For one simple reason:
The item you bought was broken before you bought it.
Yes, the new item that you had bought, was sadly already unusable when you bought it. But why would bring this oddly specific life event up? Well, it happened to me this past weekend.
When you're moving, things that you used constantly may get roughed up in the process of getting carried around or moved into the new place. As the family was helping with the move, we decided to upgrade an item to something new.
We brought the new item, brought it back to the new place, and found out it was broken. Thankfully, we were able to exchange the item, but isn't it heartbreaking to see the new item you bought was broken?
Hopefully this has never happened to you, but if it has, let us know via our station app.
