Carrie Underwood has been teasing fans with footage from her upcoming video for "Cry Pretty," and they're about to see even more.

Update: On Sunday night Underwood revealed the full video for "Cry Pretty"

The country superstar turned to social media on Friday (May 4) to post another, slightly longer clip from the video than the one she shared on May 3. The new trailer shows some of the same footage of Underwood walking down a dingy sidewalk in a sparkly mini-dress with a long coat and crying in the shower, but it intercuts some additional scenes of the superstar onstage, crying with her face in her hands and looking at herself sadly in a backstage mirror.

"Watch @AmericanIdol on @ABCNetwork Sunday night at 8e/5p for a sneak peek of my new music video for #CryPretty!" Underwood writes to accompany the clip, which ends by touting the "official premiere" of the video on Sunday. Underwood shot to fame after winning American Idol's Season 4 in 2005.

Everything Has Changed Since Carrie Underwood's Last Album

Underwood has returned to the spotlight in a major way over the course of the last month, after being out of the public eye since a fall at her home in November of 2017 resulted in a broken wrist and stitches to her face. She released "Cry Pretty" on April 11 and then owned the stage with a spectacular performance of the songs at the 2018 ACM Awards on April 15.

Days later, on April 18, Underwood announced that she'll release her next album — also titled Cry Pretty — on Sept. 14. On April 29, she wowed fans all over again when she sang the national anthem prior to Game 2 of the Nashville Predators' 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs series.
