CENTRAL TEXAS CHILDREN’S CENTER FUNDRAISER

The Public is invited to go “Horsin’ Around for the Children’s Center”, April 18, 2013, at the Bell County Expo Center. This year the Top Auction item is a Trip for TWO to the KENTUCKY DERBY in Louisville on May 3rd & 4th.  It's a $6,500 trip, which includes air fare, hotel, and $700 in spending money.

COW PATTY BINGO will also take place inside the Exhibition Arena. 300 squares are available for $50 each in advance ($75 at the door) and the winner will receive a $1,000 Visa Gift Card. Squares purchased online or via phone will be available for pickup at the door or at the Children’s Center prior to the event.

Kentucky Derby Hats will be raffled off with other donated items.  There will be a Live Auction, plus a Stick Horse Race for Kids & Adults sponsored by Britt Drug.
The musical group, the GTO’s, will provide your dinner and dancing music.  Enjoy Mint Juleps & other beverages available at the cash bar.  “Horsin’ Around for the Children’s Center” is open to the public. There is no entry free,  just come in and spend what you want.  All proceeds will benefit Central Texas Children’s Center,  celebrating 60 years of educational services for children of all abilities, with priority given to children with special needs, including those with Autism, seizures, respiratory and gastric disorders, speech disorders, cognitive challenges, motor disorders, and other health, behavioral, social, and developmental disabilities.

This years goal is $25,000 to pay for two critical needs:  replacement of a 14 year old air conditioning system which can no longer be repaired, and replacement of an outdated, non-compliant fire alarm system.
