I had a great time Saturday night at Johnny’s Steaks and Bar-Be-Que in Salado.  Charlie Robison kicked off the 2013 Cool Country Concert season in Johnny’s Outback.  Now don't make fun of my pictures,  I took them from behind the Sound Guys, my husband Keith is fascinated by that kind of thing.  He loves to see how they engineer it all, so you get to see Charlie from The Sound Guy Point of View.

Opening for Charlie was Natalie Stovall.  She plays a mean fiddle and sings too. See, even the Sound Guy was taking her picture.

I got to go on stage and introduce her, my first concert introduction.  Thank you, Rita Ballou for all your pointers, your training paid off and I did not make a fool of myself.

Jamie and I shared the Charlie Robison introduction.  I believe we make a great Team!  Here we are Backstage with Jamie's son Tyler, and Josh Bratton, owner of Johnny's.

Johnny’s Cool Country Concerts are for all ages, with a playground for the kids, bar for the grownups, food and a dance floor for both, all in the Outback behind the restaurant in Salado.  Next show is April 26, Asleep at the Wheel.  You can get tickets here and check out the 2013 schedule.
