That is indeed a lot of purple, and almost all over the the Lone Star State. But what exactly will be temperature? Well, KVUE is able to shed some light on the situation.

According the news organization, highs on Monday, October 30th could be around the 40s, depending on where a Texan resides. At the time of writing, the predicted high for the next day, which is Halloween, is 53, and the low at 41.

So it's safe to say, you should have some warm costumes available. But we wondered, what was the coldest Halloween ever in Texas?

Thankfully, It Doesn't Look Like We'll Get This Cold

According to the National Weather Service, the coldest it ever got was 29 degrees in 1993 on the spooky night. Heck, snow even made an appearance in the state two days before.

Hopefully, snow doesn't somehow magically happen, and everyone stays warm on the night of ghouls and goblins!
