UMHB won a big game Saturday night 45-32 over Hardin-Simmons.

Texas A&M started out strong but came up short over LSU 24-19.

Texas & Baylor combined for 1,132 yards of total offense and went back and forth on the lead, but when the final gun sounded it was Texas on top Baylor 56-50.

Another Defense optional game was held up on Fort Worth as Texas Tech took down TCU 56-53.

No major upsets Saturday, the only surprises were how big the margins of victory were in the K State West Virginia & Florida South Carolina games.  K-State and Florida both have sore hands after the spankings they handed out.

Top ranked Alabama rolled tide over Tennessee 44-13, but Notre Dame had to rally to get past Brigham Young 17-14.  The Sooners won big over Kansas 52-7.  Everyone is looking forward to the Irish coming to Oklahoma next Saturday.
