Now that school is back in session, you might occasionally lose contact with your children. If you feel you're being ignored, there's an app for that.

The app is called ReplyASAP, and it was created out of necessity.

KRIV-TV reports that Nick Herbert has a son named Ben, a secondary school student who started ignoring his father's texts and calls shortly after dad bought him a smartphone.

Bad move.

Nick created an App that will take over the caller's phone, including the screen. The phone sounds an alarm, even if the phone is on silent. The phone will continue to scream until the text or call is answered.

Now this is a two way street. Anyone could send the howling app, so it should be used for emergency only. Unless you are both mean spirited and like to mess with each other. You know who you are.
