The Eli Young Band family keeps on growing, and understandably, the group likes to take their brood along on tour whenever possible. Traveling with small kids can be quite a challenge, but luckily, the foursome has Little Big Town to look to for advice.

EYB have gained two new additions in the last couple of years. Singer Mike Eli's little girl is a full-blown toddler, while Jon Jones has a one-year-old son. Kline Eli and Hudson Jones are sometimes lucky enough to join their daddies on the road, which can cause chaos, to say the least.

Thankfully, LBT have been mentors for EYB, especially when it comes to touring with little ones. The seasoned foursome frequently take their kids on the road to the stage and back again, and the Eli Young Band boys have learned a lot from the 'Tornado' singers, who make traveling with kids look easy.

“We’ve been on two different tours with them, and the first time when they just pretty much had newborns,” Jones explains of their tourmates. "And now they’re running around and it looks like a playground explodes out of their bus every time it stops."

He adds of the LBT gang, "They’re all on the bus together and they make it work, and it’s very seamless."

The Eli Young Band insist their country music pals are great role models for not only bringing the kids on tour, but also balancing being musicians and still maintaining active roles as parents.

“You can tell their children are having this great upbringing on the road and it’s very normal for them,” Jones explains. “Seeing them go through it, for us was just a confirmation that, ‘yeah we can make this work.’"
