With all the animals in the state of Texas, there's bound to be something that catches us off-guard to say the least. Seeing an animal run past with you without knowing it, or spotting a rare animal is something that could happen every day.

But, also there are times when people are needed to be called in to assist with the animal in question. Sometimes that includes calling Animal Control, or somebody to catch the animal in question.

Waco Police Had To Handle A Kangaroo Recently? Why?

How is it known that police in Waco had to contend with a Kangaroo? Well there's video of the situation:



Yup, your eyes do not deceive you, that's Waco police contending with a kangaroo. But how did this even begin? Well, thankfully KXXV revealed what caused the video.

The kangaroo in question came from Waco Wildlife Rescue. An unnamed employee unfortunately left some gates wide open, which left the kangaroo to explore Central Texas. But no worries, the kangaroo came back safe and sound to the Rescue.

Hopefully though, employees there remember to close the gate next time!
