Hey Gang,

We're slowly becoming androids.  As I write this, I'm in a room all by myself, and I'm about to tell you about a new study that has to do with Eye Contact.  It seems most of us don't make enough of it.

Quantified Impressions did a study and found that most of us son't make enough eye contact with other people when we're talking to them.  According to the study, we should make eye contact for 70% of the conversation.  You should also hold eye contact with tem for 7 to 10 seconds if you're in a one-on-one conversation...3 to 5 seconds if you're in a group conversation.

It seems that most of us only keep eye contact for 30 to 60 percent of the time.  End result is that it makes you look like you don't care.  If you don't then that's fine, but if you do, you really need to look a little longer.  Other results show that when you lose eye contact it makes you look untrustworthy.

This is a growing problem with the youth of today because of phones.  People are too busy texting someone else while they talk to you.  I think I have a solution.  If your phone looked like this, do you think you could remember to look a person in the eye?

My problem is holding the look for too long.  It makes it look like I'm starving and want to devour the person I'm talking to.  That might explain the court orders.
